Circuit of the Americas,
Grand Prix weekend.

The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix — the Austin round of the F1 calendar — and the Porsche Cup season finale, run the same weekend at COTA. Liveries and a paddock that feel like nowhere else in Texas.

Location Circuit of the Americas · Austin, TX
Subject F1 US Grand Prix · Porsche Cup finale
Format Phone-shot, straight off the fence line
The story

A different kind of fast.

The Austin round of Formula 1 — and the same weekend as the Porsche Cup season finale, run alongside it at COTA. F1 cars turning laps at a speed that doesn't look real in person, a championship being decided a few hours later, McLaren and Oracle Red Bull liveries parked close enough to touch.

No credentials, no pit lane access — just a fence line, a phone, and whatever angle the crowd would give up. Some of the best frames came from waiting out a bad sightline until a gap opened.

The collection

Liveries, laps, and a Texas flag.

Shot on a phone from the general-admission side of the fence — mixed orientation, kept native.
